Primany override for panelled doors
Suitable for listed buildings
With most of our standard anti-barricade locksets needing a distance of 135mm from the edge of the door to any beading or other obstruction, feature panel doors have always been a little bit awkward for Primera. However, recognising the special nature of our Grade II listed buildings, we’ve developed a smaller lockset to suit.
The new lockset is available with both primary and secondary override functions and needs just 96mm* from the edge of the door to any decorative feature. It’s small and neat, but it’s strong too and means that the benefits of a safe, Primera product don’t have to be restricted to modern buildings.
* Nightlatch used in 68 & 88 applications have a 60mm backset & 90mm lockcase depth.

Secondary override for panelled doors
Protecting our heritage
The ‘58’ shown above includes an internal anti-ligature turn handle. It allows service users their legal right to privacy and dignity whilst offering the reassurance of an effective and concealed override mechanism to address barricade scenarios all in a narrower stile package.
As with all Primera products these locksets are designed with service user safety in mind and product construction is able to withstand even the most challenging behaviour.
The radius plate options with their softer lines avoid an institutional appearance but still offer a robust and practical solution.
Unlike other anti-ligature locksets, the ‘58’ includes an integral indicator facility in addition to both of the barricade override functions of our flagship Twin-Tech system.

Secondary Barricade Emergency Toolkit for PR3 Locksets
The emergency toolkit contains all the items required to use the Secondary Barricade override facility for the PR3 locksets. These include a screwdriver for the removal of the security screw, a multi-tool to both unlock and pull the door in the outward direction and various replacement components, should they be required.This is an essential accessory when fitting and supplying any PR3 locksets. The quantity required will relate to the requirements of the individual project, typically one kit per ward.
