The 5-Lobe Pin security drive offers improved tamper resistance (rated level 2 for security) compared to the more commonly available 6-Lobe Pin (Pin Torx) drive (rated level 1); the tooling is more specialised and as a result harder for members of the general public to get hold of.
A4-70 Stainless Steel is a high tensile strength stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, perfect for both internal, external applications and especially marine environments, food industry and medical equipment. Whilst this higher-grade steel is generally more expensive than A2 Stainless Steel fasteners, it can be more cost-effective over a longer period of time, due to it’s corrosion resistance and durability, leading to reduced maintenance costs, fewer replacement parts and less down time due to equipment breakdown.
