The most complete override locking system on an anti-ligature lockset, our 5-way SOS (Staff Override System) lockset provides five override methods to ensure you gain access.
​​In the most common barricade scenario, the staff key dominates the internal turn/pull, ending the barricade quickly and simply.
There are four additional emergency override methods to overcome determined barricades. We hope you rarely use them, but they may just save a life.
5-way SOS was previously called ‘Twin-Tech’.
Unlike Other anti ligature locksets the “56” includes an integral indicator facility in addition to both of the barricade override functions.
Principally designed for bathrooms where an indication of room occupancy is required. It is often specified for bedrooms because the indicator can only be operated by the turn/pull. Assuming there is no alternative means of access into the room, a red status on the indicator confirms that the room is occupied and can help clinical staff to monitor the whereabouts of the service user.
As with all other Primera anti-ligature locksets, the design is sympathetic, with attention paid to all details, to ensure safety and tamper resistance.
