Wherever a manual locking regime is preferred this lockset is ideal. This lockset is operated by key from both sides of the door. It was designed intially for communal rooms to prevent to reduce misuse from service users, but is becoming widely used for en-suite bathrooms in CAMHS units and other challenging environement because the door can be locked in both the closed and the open position – assuming a suitable locking post is installed.
When in the unlocked position, the door is held closed by means of a medium-sprung adjustable roller catch which negates the need for lever handles. As standard, it includes an anti-ligature pull handle to both faces of the door.
