This lockset is designed for applications where automatic locking is required, kitchens where there are knives, dispensaries where drugs are stored and cupboards with cleaning products. The keyway closes when the key is removed to discourage insertion of foreign objects.
When there is a need to know if the door is closed it is locked, an automatic deadlocking latch is ideal. Kitchen, dispensaries and cleaning cupboards all house potentially dangerous substances, and automatic locking makes life simpler and reduces wear and tear on the keys and cylinders by up to 50%.
All Primera automatic locks are equipped with an anti-thrust bolt which deadlocks the latch when the door is in the closed position reducing the potential for patient manipulation, a feature which is especially useful for outward opening door. If required, this product can be supplied with a “passage set” feature which can be used to prevent automatic latching – a feature that can be very useful during periods of continual traffic.
Available with a choice of 3 different pull handles
pinch handle, elephants trunk handle and grab handle.
Inside – Anyone can unlock the door from the inside using the turn pull
Outside the door can only be unlocked using a key, generally staff only
