The SEQUOIA VMS520 ligature-resistant mattress is designed for challenging and high-risk environments, combining enhanced comfort with advanced fire safety performance. Built to meet BS7177:2008 Very High Hazard (Crib 7) requirements, this mattress is ideal for secure healthcare settings where both safety and patient wellbeing are essential. At its core is a Fireseal™ foam construction, engineered to support high fire resistance. This is paired with a breathable, vapour-permeable PU cover from the Advance fabric range, helping to regulate moisture and improve patient comfort during extended use. The fully welded, encapsulated design protects against fluid ingress and contamination, while maintaining durability in demanding environments.
An optional integral pillow version (VMS520P) is available to further enhance usability and reduce risk.
