Description
The ALSVFRSS Raised Ventilation Grille is a ligature-resistant stainless steel ventilation cover designed for wall or ceiling-mounted extractor fans in secure and mental health environments. Developed in collaboration with a high secure mental health site, it improves maintenance access while significantly reducing ligature risk compared to standard open grille designs.
Manufactured from 1.2mm 430 stainless steel and finished in anti-bacterial powder-coated RAL 9003 white, this grille provides a durable, hygienic and impact-resistant solution suitable for damp and wet environments.

Installation & Maintenance
The outer frame is fixed directly to the wall or ceiling via integrated fixing holes using 4x appropriate substrate fixings, not included. The perimeter should be sealed using Anti-Pick 110, purchased separately. The internal grille is inserted into the frame and secured using security screws, allowing controlled maintenance access when required.
Clean the outer frame using a damp microfibre cloth and non-detergent cleaner. The inner grille can be removed and washed in warm soapy water to remove debris from the 2mm perforations.
