An alternative configuration within the SOFTDOOR® range.
Developed in collaboration with the NHS, the SOFTDOOR® PQ addresses risks associated with fixed hinged doors by removing inherent anchor points and introducing an advanced breakaway solution. Its patented magnetic hinge system improves reliability while supporting safe, consistent performance.
Standard sizes (per leaf):
450mm / 550mm width x 1200mm height
Bespoke sizes up to 1050mm width per leaf.
FEATURES:
- Infection Control: Seams are stitched to enhance strength and durability, then welded to prevent the absorption of water and moisture, supporting effective infection control.
- Available in both saloon and single-panel configurations
- Crib 7 Fire Retardant to BS5852
- Breakaway design – Detaches upon a load of approx. 5-8kg
- A range of colours and bespoke printed finishes are available to support more considered, theraputic spaces.
